I am broadly interested in self-regulation, executive functioning, emotion regulation, and cognition-emotion interactions. More specifically, I am interested in 1) investigating the neural correlates of cognitive control, 2) understanding how enhanced control can lead to improved health, well-being, and life-satisfaction, and 3) how control can be cultivated through practices such as inhibitory control training and meditation, both in children and adults.
